When a web page zoom is different from 100%, the grid column's seems to loose their resize cursorpreventing the user from resizing them.

When the zoom is set back to 100% the user a able to resize the grid again.  Can you confirm if this is a bug?  You can reproduce the problem in the Column Resize Demo

Hi,

Indeed column resize doesn't work in the latest Chrome version, however this bug is already fixed and the fix will be included in the SP1 release scheduled for the next week. Meanwhile as a temporary solution you can use the workaround provided in the following knowledge base article:

Thank you for the hot fix. This almost fixes the problem we are seeing with Chrome and the Grid and the column not resizing.

Windows 10
Chrome Version 65.0.3325.181 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Browser Zoom level is 100%
Kendo 2017.2.261.545
Jquery 2.1.4
Rendering the Grid using MVC
Monitor resolution 3840 X 2160

With the hot fix listed above for the override of positionColumnResizeHandle does produce the resize handle, but when they click to start the resize nothing resizes. It works on Edge and IE11 on the same machine, just not Chrome. All the other 10 users in the office on Chrome are having no issues. We can resize the Kendo Grid Demo just fine on this configuration, but not when it's included in our app.

Anything else you can think of why the Column Resizing might not work for this one user with the high resolution monitor? We can try to go through the effort to update Kendo bits, but first wanted to check.

Hi Brick,

What I would recommend in this case is an upgrade to the latest Kendo UI version, or at least to 2017.3.1018. I am afraid that there is no other possible solution that the user can apply in order to workaround the issue.

Do not hesitate to let us know in case any questions or problems arise during the update.

Thank you Pavlina,

Updating to 2018.1.221 appears to have addressed the issues.
