AxisLabelClick event not firing on y-axis label click

I have a bar chart with an axisLabelClick event defined.  The event fires when the x-axis label is clicked but not when the y-axis is clicked.  This worked in previous versions.  Any help would be appreciated.

In addition to the click event, I applied a template for formatting purposes to the label and this prevented the click event from firing.  Removing the template makes the click event fire, however, I need both the template and the click event.  Thoughts?

Hello Joe,

I tried to reproduce the problem, but to no avail - the axisLabelClick is fired even if a template for the labels is applied. For your convenience I attached my test page - could you please edit it to show me your current implementation? This way I would be able to investigate what exactly is going on and advice you further. Thank you in advance.
