<UPDATE from 14 Jul 2016>
Official support for ASP.NET Core 1.0 RTM is available in the R2 2016 SP2 release of UI for ASP.NET MVC. The Official ASP.NET Core 1.0 Support Now in UI for ASP.NET MVC blog post provides details on how to download the package via nuget, what the new assembly names are and some useful links to get you started.

<UPDATE from 30 Jun 2016>
The LIB is out and you can download it from your Telerik.com accounts as shown in this screenshot. The nuget installation is placed inside this folder: telerik.ui.for.aspnetmvc.hotfix.2016.2.630.commercial.7z\wrappers\aspnetmvc\Binaries\Mvc6.

You can also download a preview NuGet package for testing purposes from https://www.nuget.org/packages/Kendo.Mvc/2016.2.630-Preview.

The official release scheduled for mid-July is cooking and will incorporate all critical bug fixes reported by you - our valuable community!
</UPDATE>

Hi guys,

I'm eager to inform you that we are going to release soon a latest internal build for UI for ASP.NET MVC especially built against the new ASP.NET Core 1.0 RTM. I am going to inform you here once the LIB is out.

We will be glad to receive any fast feedback and bug reports, the best of which will try to incorporate in the official R2 2016 SP2 release of UI for ASP.NET MVC planned for mid-July.

You can find more information along with known problems in the following resources:

You can use the nuget package provided in the internal build by creating a local nuget feed.

No need to wait for it to be on nuget.org

I need it to be on nuget.com for my build servers and CI servers to run. Also Release Management server need to be able to pull it from public source. I dont want to "Hotfix" my builds to get it to work :(

@Jekov You realy need to push this to nuget if you want us to test it.

The normal way is to push it as a preview to nuget. That way VS will not find it until you you mark the "include previews" checkbox, but build servers and everything else will work and we can give you good solid feedback on the package.

You also should redact 2016.2.616 from nuget since this was a faulty build.

Nuget previews = internal builds.

Hi folks,

The requested preview NuGet package is live at https://www.nuget.org/packages/Kendo.Mvc/2016.2.630-Preview.

Feel free to download and test it. As soon as we get enough feedback, we will be able to incorporate it in the official version.

I'm using the preview package from NuGet, however, I can't get grids to show any data.  I can see that my Read action is getting called and it's returning data, however, the grid does not show anything.  I do see in the browser console that I'm getting an error that says: Kendo file / is included more than once.  I'm not sure if the two are related.

Everything works fine with this preview nuget package so I think this is not related.

I am seeing the same thing.  The controller action is being called, data is there, and I see the data is coming back ok in the console, but nothing is displaying on the grid.
