Hello Tor Sigve Taksdal,

In Q3 2010 we have introduced the CubeDataSource Component that is capable to retrieve data from an OLAP cube using Microsoft Analysis Services with little or no extra code. CubeDataSource uses the ADOMD.NET client data provider internally to connect to Microsoft Analysis Services and execute an MDX query against the desired OLAP cube. The returned result set can be visualized directly by the Report itself or using a Table/Crosstabreport item.
