I've noticed that the alert "freezes" when hovering the mouse on it, so that it doesn't disappear, and its duration time is reset and start counting again after the mouse stops hover on it.
Can this behavior be controlled or cancelled?

The RadDescktopAler control doesn't functionality to control the appearance of the alert window in mouse over state. This is core functionality that cannot be changed in the current implementation of the RadDescktopAler.
