Advice for fixing the display of the datetime picker?

Currently, the datetime picker preemptively displays the time beneath the date instead of replacing the date picker with the time whenever the time button is clicked.  I would like to have the compact, default view where the time picker replaces the date picker and vice versa on button clicks.  The pictures should clarify the issue.

The demonstrated screenshots suggest that there is something wrong with the project as that isn't the default appearance of the DateTimePicker. By default the user can switch between the Calendar and Time views that are displayed in a popup:

What I can suggest is to make sure that you are using the latest DateInputs and Kendo theme package versions. Also please make sure that there isn't any third party or custom CSS that may cause the demonstrated appearance. Last but not least please make sure that there aren't any JavaScript errors in the browser console which may be relevant.
