Hi

When I first saw the new datafilter control in your demo i liked it. The way, you select fields, operator and values are very nice. But the way you present/organize the bundles of different statements just totally confuses me. Lets take the folowing pseudo filter:

where
  ((UnitPrice <= 100) AND (UnitPrice >= 10)) AND
  ((OrderDate <= 31-12-2008) AND (OrderDate >= 01-12-2008))

The attachment "filtertelerik.jpg" shows the above where clause in the datafilter control. Personally the way indents are handled confuses me and I would never be able to see through more complex filters. So I suggest you could add additional ways og presenting filters and let the user/developer chooses from himself.

Hello Paw,

Thank you for the great ideas. We are aware of this limitation and we have this feature in our todo list.

Here is the PITS link where you can vote for the feature. The more votes it has -- the higher its priority will be.

Once again, thank you for the valuable feedback.

All the best,

Hi, we really need a more readable version of this control once you start adding composite filters.  I'd like to vote for this feature (or see what its status is) but the link appears to be broken.

Thanks.
