Hello Dana,
Atanas Korchev

The report viewer control is an ASP.NET WebForms control and as such needs ASPX view.

Can someone provide more details on the "work around"?
Are there any future plans for Telerik Reporting to support the Razor view engine?

Hi,

The workaround is to use an ASCX partial view which will host the report viewer control. Visual Studio allows you to choose the view engine when creating a new partial view.

Hi all,
The Telerik team has just posted a blog on how to use Telerik Reporting in ASP.NET MVC 4, which covers the workaround and shows how to avoid CSS collisions: Telerik Reporting in MVC? Sure. It takes 8 quick steps.
FYI, Telerik Reporting product will offer an MVC viewer in June: Roadmap
Cheers,
Vassil

Just an FYI, the correct link for Vassil Petev's answer is:
http://blogs.telerik.com/telerikreportingteam/posts/13-03-26/telerik-reporting-in-mvc-sure-it-takes-8-quick-steps-
The clickable link in his answer seems to be missing the protocol ('http://'), so the link is actually being constructed as if it were a forum post.
HTH.

Hello Bob,
We have decided to postpone the official release of the new JS/HTML5 based Report Viewer. You will be able to test a preview of the new feature before Q3 2013. For now we cannot give you an ETA for the preview, so please follow up our blogs for news when it will be available.
Let us know if we can be of any further help for you at that moment.
Regards,
Stef

Have you tried the new visualization options in Telerik Reporting Q2 2013? You can get them from your account.
