Hi!

In my timeline, I am currently overriding the Event Template. Based on my model's data, I am trying to add an indicator of an event at a particular time.

For example

12:00             13:00

[           *           ]

Are there any features of the Event Templates that will allow me to achieve this?

Thanks

Chuck

Hi Chuck,

From the provided information it's not clear for me what exactly you are trying to achieve - could you please elaborate more on this? Also if possible please provide screenshots of the current and the desired behavior to get better overview of the exact setup that you need.

Absolutely...

In the example I attached, the Red-Circle with the 1 represents a data point that I have scheduled around 05:45. I have been able to add the Icon to my Event Template, but, I haven't figured out if there is a way to have it appear ~05:45. For the User, this Icon represents an event in the time line where they will need to have some interaction with equipment that has been scheduled.

I am somewhat new to this control and any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hi Chuck,

If I understand you correctly you need this icon to be positioned in specific place of the event element (template), depending on the underlying time slots. If this is the case than there are several ways to achieve it. For example you can position the red element relatively to the event element with percentages depending on the start / end times. For your convenience I created small demo which you can use as baseline:

Ah, Brilliant! I didn't think about using a percentage because I was so geared towards using a specific time, but this completely makes sense.

Thank you!!!
