I have followed your tutorial on how to create a hierarchy using the GridView. Everything works perfectly except for one small issue. If there are no related records in a particular child, I don't get an Add New Row line (??), I therefore cannot add the first child record to the child table using the GridVew. If there is at least one related record, the Add New Row line is visible and allows me to add a new row.

Some help on this matter will be much appreciated

Hi ACS,

Thank you for writing.

Unfortunately, RadGridView does not support adding new child row through its standard end user interface if there is not at least one existing row. We will change this in one of the next releases. Currently you can work around this by adding new rows to any parent row directly in the RadGridView (with the help of RadContextMenu for example) or in the underlying DataSource.

Please, let me know if you need additional assistance with this.
