Hi,
Included is example file. column width is smaller then the recommended size, as shown with borderlines. In preview showing one column, also in print showing 1 only, whereas setting are columncount =4 on normal A4 paper, with margins of 254 mm has a face remaining of 15 cm. interested in hearing how I can resolve things.

Hello Eric,
If the report does not render the number of columns set in ColumnCount, it is likely due to either the report width being too large or an item in the detail section is too large. Check for report items that are greater than the width of the report. If you increase the width/height of a certain report item manually through the property grid directly, the container wrapping this item would not shrink/expand with it as this is handled only when working through the designer.
Keep in mind that when previewing the report, multi-column report would be rendered as single-column when the report viewer is in Interactive View. The report viewer should be in Print Preview mode in order to render the report as multi-column. You can switch to PrintPreview by clicking the icon shown in the attached images. Additionally, you can change the default mode by setting the ViewMode property of the respective report viewer to PrintPreview.
