Hello Bart,
The 3D charting visualization is supported only in our RadChart control. However, this component has many know issues and limitations and this is why we created the new RadChartView suite that resolves most of them. The new suite has better implementation and improved performance, and it also is easier to set up. You can read about the differences between the charts in the RadChart vs. RadChartView help article.
About your question, no the RadChartView suite doesn't support 3D series. This is because we think that such visualization doesn't bring better understanding of the data to the end user. Despite this fact we have logged a feature request about implement such visualization which you can track in our feedback portal.
