Hello Ludwig,
Unfortunately, the desired by you behavior of RadDocking is currently not supported out of the box - you could not drag a Pane from one RadDocking and place it inside another.
However, we have this logged as a feature request in our Feedback portal. On the following link you could vote for the item and follow its status:
