Telerik’s Date Time Picker for Xamarin provides users with an easy and intuitive way to pick a date, time or both from a pre-defined range of time. The component has several features which allows you to set a date range, date and time format and fully customize the dialog appearance.

Date and Time Picker for Xamarin is equipped with a property which allows you to set a standard date and time format. This feature gives you the flexibility to create a date picker, time picker or a combination of both.

Display string format
The display text formatting property of the Date Time Picker enables you to choose what text is displayed when a date and/or time was picked.

Placeholder Text
The placeholder functionality allows developers to set what text is to be displayed in the control text area when there is no selected item. A useful feature designed to communicate what is expected as input from the end users, e.g., “Select Departure Time”.
