Hi,

I'm seeing an issue with dissapearing points when zooming/panning.  Here's a video to describe the problem:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuFaYKwdPPI&feature=youtu.be

I tried the 2014.2.702 and 2014.2.0618 dev releases but hit the same issue.

I spent a while debugging into this but couldn't find the culprit.  I am using a DateTimeCategoricalAxis as the horizontal axis.  The issue only repros when the range of values I pass in are multiples of days (increments of 1 day) and I use DateTimeComponent.DATE.  The issue doesn't repro when the range of values represent minutes and I use TIME_OF_DAY, using the same code that I have.  I tried commenting out sections of code but could not narrow down the offending line, will continue to try to debug into this.

Any ideas on what is going on here?  It looks like virtualization may be excluding data points in the wrong direction?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,

I have answered your support thread about the same issue. In essence this is a bug and we are aware of it. A fix is being developed as we speak.
Please choose only one support channel, it will make our communication easier. I suggest using the support system since you will need to wait less for a response.

Hi,

I have discovered that this bug still occurs in the latest release (2014.3.1023), and the last post on this was from July.

Is there an ETA for the fix?

Thanks.

Hi James,

Thanks for writing.
Can you please post a support ticket and attach a sample project that reproduces this issue. We definitely fixed a bug that caused the same behavior. Perhaps there is something else happening in your case.
I am looking forward to your reply.

Victor
