Hi guys,
I'd like to dynamically create and load a web browser control in the rotator. The web browser control will be used to show either a PDF or an image depending on the data I have stored.

Reset layout of dockpanels at runtime

Hi,

We are using SaveXML and LoadXML to save/restore the layout of dockpanels. Is there a way to restore the layout back to the one created at designtime?

Let's say the user completely messed up his arrangement of dockpanels and want's to restore it back to the "default" at runtime - how do we do that?

Rad Panel expanded property Q1 2008

Hello,
I have recently purchased the latest winforms (Q1 2008) and am trying to programatically set the expanded property of the panel bar control.

I noticed a forum thread that suggested there was now a property called GroupExpanded, which i cannot see.

The fix for this involved removing any previous 2006 demo version and reibnstalling the q1 2007 version.

However I only see the Q1 2008 version in add remove programs so cannot do this ...

Any ideas?

MDI Forms for Winforms

Hi All...

I´m new on winforms, actually i´m new at desktop development and i´m trying to set a form that contains a a lot of items inside, each item must have to be able to be minimized, or closed, i think the way to do this is with mdi forms and making a child inside... is there any tutorial to follow? again iám a beginer on this topic... please Help... jeje thenk you!

Edited theme not displaying as expected

Hello,

I have a rad panel bar which I want to display without the border.

So I set the theme to ControlDefault,
open the theme builder from the smart tag,
select RadPanelBarElement from the control structure tree,
edit the Bordercolor, BorderColor2,BorderColor3,BorderColor4 to all be transparent,
preview it and it look exactly as I want it to be.
Then I save the Style sheet in theme file (tried save theme as ... as well)
Return to project,
add the theme to the project,
Go to my RadThemeManage and Load Theme from resources,
Select the theme in the control properties and save.

Now run the prject and, as well as the borders being missing, the panel bar group elements are not as high and have changed colour...

Any ideas?

GridFilterRowElement Bug

Hi,
I changed the value of GridFilterRowElement RightToLeft to true and i get this error

'Telerik.WinControls.UI.GridFilterRowElement' is not accessible in this context because it is 'Friend'.

The Error row is:

CType(Me.RadGridView1.GetChildAt(0).GetChildAt(1).GetChildAt(1), Telerik.WinControls.UI.GridFilterRowElement).RightToLeft = True

Shadow Property

Alot of the text primitives have a shadow property but all that i can do is
select (none) from the drop down.

How can this be used ? Also will there be functionlity in the future to allow
for raised text also ? A minor thing I realise but all part of fine tuning the look
and feel.

Also is it possible to customise the colours on text shadow and or the
depth of the shadow ?
