I'm working with the trial right now. And I've noticed that none of the demos recognize internet explorer as a mobile browser.
So, the touch events aren't being handled properly.

For example, the scheduler is all but unusable.  And in charting, tooltips don't show when tapped.

The test environment is windows 8.1 RT ie 11.

Are there any plans to handle this in the future?

Hello Javier,

Can you recreate these issues with the new Kendo UI version (2013.3.1119) uploaded today? You can also test the updated online demos.

Let us know how it goes.

Sebastian,

Thank you for responding.  This is with the demos in the link you provided.

For starters, none of the mobile demos display as mobile.  But this is expected as it clearly states to use ios/android and doesn't mention windows at all.

As far as kendo ui web.  In particular the scheduler.  You can't add a new schedule, you can't drag a schedule event, and you can't extend the time.

For charting, the documentation states that tooltips are hover on desktop and click on mobile.  But that's not the case in ie11 (metro).

As I mentioned.  I just think that the framework isn't recognizing the useragent as a mobile user agent and isn't making the proper adjustments.

Hi Javier,

thank you very much for the provided details. The situation with the metro context of IE is somewhat complicated, indeed. I am logging the issues you describe in our bug tracker - once we resolve them, we are going to publish them as an internal build with the details outlined in the changelog.

I am updating your telerik points for your cooperation.
