Besides my name in the profile it shows as 'Intermediate'. I would like to know what are the other types of user levels available in Telerik forums?

The mechanism here is typical of most forums, with a ranking based on the number of postings. However, I don't think the ranks Master and MVP are valid as they infer a sense of quality where this is a rank of quantity.

Telerik, is that accurate?

As an example, I'm ranked as a Master here because I have a big mouth and ask a lot of questions, not because I've been as much a help to this community as many of our respected colleagues here. I don't think I deserve that rank, though it's a nice stroke when I'm here and I try to earn it in retrospect. :)

I'd prefer a system more like StackOverflow where rank is based on peer feedback. Of course, even though RadControls has a Rating control, it's not used here ... nor are many others which could be used ... ahem ... :)   Or at least perhaps we could get ranked based on the number of answers we post to threads which are not our own, and not get ranked based on the number of questions we ask.

Just thoughts. If Telerik wants to hire me, I'll rework the whole thing, but until then I'll just enjoy what's here.
