I'd like to know what is best option (if exist one) to have week number in the calendar.
The idea is to have exactly what we have with ASP.NET AJAX controls:

I am afraid this functionality is not available in Kendo UI Calendar / DatePicker/ DateTimePicker widgets at present. Actually this idea has been already shared at our UserVoice portal, so if you wish you may cast a vote, leave a comment or monitor the community's interest in it here. The more votes the suggestion collects, the higher priority will have when planning for a release.

I am afraid this functionality is not supported yet. Once its implementation is scheduled, it will be included in the official roadmap.

Strange thing is that the weekNumber option is already available in the documentation for the configuration of the datePicker control.
It doesn't work yet though.

It should work with the R1 2017 release version. Currently there is a problem with Kendo UI Dodjo. We are currently working on this issue. As soon as it is ready I will update the information in this thread.

As You see, we have an issue with weekNumbers for calendar. Year starts from 2 even3 week. Weeks are repeated.
