I have a problem trying to verify whatever in element exists. What I'm trying to do is check if an element exists and if not perform some steps to create that element. The problem I run in to however is that it seems impossible to create a verify exists, to use in an if else. It might be that I'm missing somthing simple, but any help would be apriciated.

I see that this works, but it is a work around.  Why is there not a verify element exists verification available?  I would use this in other scenarios as well.

Hello Tim,

Thank you for contacting Telerik Support.

In regards to your query, I would like to point you to our quick verification tool page of our online documentation. I believe the verification you are looking for is the "Wait - element exists" from the Quick Tasks section.  This would conduct a verify on the element at a CheckInterval until reaching a final Timeout, the value of which can be changed to fit your needs in the properties tab of the step. However in order to use this verification in an IF logic step you will have to change its role from a Wait to a Verify by right clicking on the step -> Change Role -> Set as Verification.

Please let me know if this proposed solution helps!

Best Regards,
Mario

Please fix the link to the troubleshooting article referenced in the post by Anthony on 2-27-2012. It's throwing an error:
