We've got quite a significant investment in Knockout templates and I'm wondering if anyone had figured out a way to be able to use Knockout templates in place of the regular Kendo templates? I know we can re-do them, but we want to re-use if at all possible, and would like to be able to stick with knockout for elsewhere in the UI.

In case no-one has any solid experience on this, whacky ideas would also be gratefully received - we're willing to experiment.

Thanks for replying Steve. Yes, I had indeed taken a look - they are for regular Kendo and don't yet cover Kendo UI Mobile unfortunately.

Hello Richard,

I've consulted with Kendo UI team and it is not in their short term plans to work on Kendo UI Mobile/KnockoutJs compatibility. Their suggestion is to migrate to the Kendo templates.

Seems a shame to have locked down template support to just kendo templates - it reduces the value of the Kendo mobile controls for folks with existing investments.

I'm going to take a look at the itemChange event I spotted on the listview yesterday. Not much in the docs at all, but it looks like each listitem is fully formed at that point so it might be possible to call ko.applyBindings on it. That was what I was after really, just ideas on what the extensibility points might be to achieve this kind of customization rather than an out of the box solution.
