Thanks for the inquiry.
The http://www.telerik.com.tw domain is actually a property of Telerik, using the Telerik website. The security certificate used by the website is issued for the http://www.telerik.com domain only, hence the warning in the browser. You could check the warning message though, which indicates that the certificate is a property of Telerik.
Thanks again,

I just wonder since your reply wasn't that clear as to why it was there and since you said I could check the certificate again which isn't possible since it now redirects to http://www.telerik.com/ , I also would wonder why a big company would then have a site running which would give users security warnings when accessing which lead me to believe it was a malicious site.
as my colleague explained, the .tw domain is owned by Telerik, so the site you visited is indeed not malicious at all. However, since the content it showed was the same as the one for http://www.telerik.com and we only have a certificate issued for the .com (and not for the .tw) domain, you received a security warning notifying you of the domain name mismatch. In order to avoid such confusions in future, we implemented a redirect that could allow clients to land on the http://www.telerik.com official site instead of the .tw one.
