Hi,
I am trying to upgrade my website to use the latest Telerik Dlls.

to the version of UI for Silverlight Q3 2014

The problem is we have the option
"Reduce XAP size by using application library caching" turned on.

So it appears when the Silverlight website is deployed, the client may not get the newer Telerik Dlls downloaded and the website will crash unless they clear their cache.

(The code is written so when their is a new XAP file that will get downloaded to the client. But there are too many Telerik Dlls for this to be practical for the Telerik DLLs)

Is there a simple way to deploy the new Terlerik Dlls so it only downloads if the DLLs are new? I pefer not to make them apart of the ZAP file as this will make them larger

Thanks

Hi Jason ,

I understand your issue and I see your point. However, it seems that it is framework related and it includes the deployment of your application, rather than any controls from your suite. I found some useful information online that you could take a look at.
