Every time I upgrade the Kendo with the upgrade wizard the culture files I need for my non-English language are ignored. It is easy to miss, since most things work after the upgrade, but there are some subtle problems that arise when the culture files are missing. Like NumericTextBox that changes the decimal point character.

Would it be possible to have the upgrade wizard handle also the culture and message files? Or at least a reminder on the upgrade wizard log page that this needs to be done?

    Best regards,

    Hi Henrik,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Regarding the Resource files(localization files etc.) we have two options in our wizards. One is to use the CDN options to refer such files or have them copied to your project. By default the CDN option is chosen, you can check that by using our Project Configuration wizard. Also when using the Upgrade wizard your project is upgraded depending on the option you have chosen: Use CDN support or Copy Global Resources

With that said I can assume that by default your project is using the CDN support option but also have some of the localization files added manually. If that is your case I can suggest you to take a look at the CDN support option and use that approach to refer the localization files that you need. Of course if you need to add the files to your project go with the Copy Global Resources option in the Project Configuration wizard.

I hope the provided information helps. Please let us know if you need any other assistance.
