Up-to-date project examples?

Hi,

I tried to use the various online examples for WinForms. I can't get any of the examples to run because they are made for VS2008 and equivalent old version of Telerik WinForms. Even after migrating the examples they are full of compiling errors due to library changes. No fun.

Could you provide a stack of up-to-date example projects for WinForms?

Hello Andrew,

Thank you for writing. 

When the WinForms suite is installed the examples are installed as well. You can view them by opening our demo application (see attached image). In addition you can either view the code directly in the demo application or open the Visual Studio solution (you can find it in the install folder usually: C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\UI for WinForms Q1 2015\Examples\QuickStartExamplesCSVS2010.sln). 

If you have downloaded the standalone examples (second image) you should manually change the references in the solution file (the same solution file is available as well).

Hi Dimitar,

I don't have this folder, I guess this answers the question. Is this something I have to "add" while installing Telerik?

And I didn't find the independent demo installer because I searched in the support & learning area. Guess kinda blind...

No the examples and the demo application are part of the suite and they are installed with it. Detailed information about the install steps is available here: Installing On Your Computer.
