Unable to set up datalink server

We are trying to set up data link server and data connector using given documentation on site. http://docs.telerik.com/platform/backend-services/features/data-connectors/setting-up-data-link-server

We are getting error when trying to add URL in data connector. Could you provide us with some sample application or key points? We are really confused:(

Could you please elaborate on the issues you are experiencing? What is the error you receive? This information would be helpful for identifying the problem and finding a resolution.

Here are some common steps you could try on your side:

• Open the URL of the data link server in your browser. If the server is properly configured, you will receive a JSON-formatted success result.
• Verify with your network administrators if the address of the data link server is visible to the outside world. The Data Connector in Backend Services should be able to connect to this address in order to make a connection to the data link server and the database.
