TelerikUIforWinFormsSetup_2014_2_721.exe won't install code samples for VS 2012 even though that option is checked off. Only VS 2012 files are copied to the local system. Please advise.

Hello Todd,

Thank you for writing.

Can you confirm that you checked the Local Demos checkbox as per this screenshot? If you did, you can find the examples here: C:\Program Files\Telerik\UI for WinForms Q2 2014\Examples. There are different sample applications as well as our demo application which is in the QuickStart/bin directory.

Let me know if you require further assistance.

Regards,
George

Hi George,

Yes, that option was checked during the installation. All the solution files under C:\Program Files\Telerik\UI for WinForms Q2 2014\Examples happen to be 2010 solutions except for DocumentsProcessing. Do you have VS 2012 examples coming with the trial  WinForms installer at https://www.telerik.com/downloads/productfiles/btcem/TelerikUIforWinFormsSetup_2014_2_721.exe? My OS is 64-bit, can it be the difference?

Thanks.

Hello Todd,

Thank you for writing.

Visual Studio is backwards compatible which means that you can open a Visual Studio 2010 solution with Visual Studio 2012/2013, no matter whether your OS is 32 or 64bit.

I hope this helps.

George
