Thank you for migrating your application to Telerik.
Both of our suites are mature enough to offer a complete set of controls capable of handling almost all of your requirements out of the box.
Regarding your question about the platform of choice, I must say that this is your decision and you need to weigh the pros and cons for each. Important factors are the systems on which your application will run as well as the experience of your team. Please also note that WPF applications tend to consume more resources, however, they are DPI independent and provide native 3D support.
In our WinForms suite, we have developed a framework(
TPF - Telerik Presentation Framework) which is inspired by WPF and all of the visual elements are organized in hierarchies. The framework provides all controls with themes, animations, and property binding. For specific information about the different controls, you can refer to our
documentation as well as our demo application.
