At some point in the past the Telerik tools were removed form the toolbox, the layout of them was fantastic I was always able to find what I needed. I know you can add them again, but I am always missing something, is there a way to restore the original Telerik layout to the toolbox?

Have you tried using the Toolbox Configurator in order to set the default layout of the Telerik controls? I would suggest to run it to set the required controls in the Visual Studio toolbox. As an example I will give you the Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX product. The Toolbox Configurator command could be found under the Telerik > UI for ASP.NET AJAX > Launch Toolbox Configurator menu in your Visual Studio. Additional information on how to use it could be found on the following link: LINK

Hi Dyanko, I have gone through the tool box configuration, it reloads VS, pop's up that it is adding the items to the toolbox but they never get added. I am not entirely sure what is happening.
I know I can drag individual dll's to the toolbox and they do show up but nothing I do restores the default layout to the toolbox, Even with reinstalling VS2013 - Ultimate and Telrik.

Note that if your page (.aspx) file is not loaded in your Visual Studio designer the Toolbox items will be not populated. Would please confirm that the page file is opened when expanding the Toolbox? It would be helpful if you could send us a screenshot of the Toolbox in order to better understand the issue.

I always have the Designer open when trying to go through the toolbox,
I have hosted 2 links on Imgur showing the WinPhone layout with Silverlight, and with html5. I have also tested with basic asp pages, and even Telerik specific projects. the toolbox is always the same.

Currently the Telerik UI for Windows Phone product does not provide any controls in the Visual Studio Toolbox and this is the reason for not seeing any Telerik controls when developing your Windows Phone projects. We provide the Item Templates that aid the creation of pages with the most common scenarios. Additional information could be found on the following link: LINK
I also want to point that the Toolbox Configurator should be executed for each of the Telerik's products in order to set the required controls for the different UI technologies we support.
