Hi,
I'm looking for a Telerik alternative for the standard ListView control of Windows, that can do the following:
- One column detail list.
- Hide the header column.
- Drag & drop items.
- Checkbox on far left of every item.
- Icon.
- Indent items.
Thx in advance.

Hi Guus,
i read the Roadmap for the Q2/2011 Release from Telerik and there they announce a new control:
ListView Control
The ListView control is a databound control that will support different views: Tile View, Details View, and more. It will be based on our generic data layer (which is already in use by RadGridView and other controls). It will support data operations such as grouping, filtering and sorting. Of course it will support our advanced theming mechanism and will allow editing of different data types.
Maybe this control will be what you are looking for.
The Q2 2011 major release is scheduled for the middle of July
Kind Regards,
Ramius
I would like to confirm what Ramius said: implementing a ListView control is on the Roadmap for the Q2/2011 and will support most of the features you have mentioned.
Thank you for your feedback. If you have any additional questions, feel free to ask.
Best wishes,

Hi Ivan,
Can you tell me what feature(s) will not be possible?
Guus
None of the features are not possible. As you can see, Icon View and Detail View are on the Roadmap for Q2 2011. Grouping is also on the Roadmap and I suppose this is what you mean by 'Indent items'. CheckBoxes and Drag & drop are not mentioned, but we have decided to implement them. We also have plans to implement editors for the list view items.
I am also not sure I completely understand your first two requirements: 'One column detail list' and 'Hide the header column' but these sound to me like small customization options which will be available since the new list view control will be Telerik Presentation Framework based.
I hope this helps. Should you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to ask.
