When working with a (.NET) web project using Telerik controls, which technical limitations does a developer without a license have to face?

Can he for example build the project (Debug, Release)?

This is assuming that the project itself was created by a developer with a valid license.

Hello Kai,

A developer without a license is prohibited from developing or implementing functionalities using our product. If such is done, it is consider as EULA violation. That being said, if you need to have more than one developer working on a project, you would need to purchase the respective number of developer seats for your license, which will be assigned to the developers. More information on the matter could be found in the license agreement below:

https://www.telerik.com/purchase/license-agreement/kendo-ui

Please let me know, should you have any further questions.

Hello Nencho,

but there are noch technical limitations right? He would be able to build the project?

I just want to make sure, that when we have 1 license for 1 developer (who would implement all the Telerik functionality), another developer without a license would still be able to work on the same project.

Regards,

Kai

Hello Kai,

Yes, this is not an issue - as long as there is only one developer (the one associated with the license), who uses our components to develop.
