Can values be loaded into the Tag property of a tree's nodes during databinding? Obviously I can get the DisplayMember, Id, and ParentId, but I'm not having any success with Tag.

Hello Jim,
RadTreeView does not support this functionality, but it will in Q2 2007 release. Please, share any other needs or ideas that you have on databinding RadTreeView.

That's too bad. When's the Q2 release slated for?
My selfish project-related needs for the TreeView would be to have a stable, well-documented set of binding features which included the Tag. I'd also like to see the ability to load directly from a file; however, that's a lower priority since loading into a DataSet and binding to that DataSet is a simple workaround.

The 2007 Q2 release is planned for mid September. You can find more details on the release here: http://www.telerik.com/products/winforms/roadmap.aspx. One of our priorities for Q2 is better documentation which will help you work better with our controls.
