Hi there

I recently updated to Q3 , the latest css file for kendo mobile.

The tabsstrip in the footer of my template is perfect on the iphone, it shows the km-text titles under the icons along the bottom of the screen.

However on ipad, it seems like the whole footer is pushed down , cutting off some of the icons and text beneath them cant be seen. They are off the page.

Keep in mind when i used version before Q3, the tabstrip was perfect on ipad...

I have tried :

.km-tablet .km-ios .km-footer{
height:4em;
}
.km-tablet .km-ios .km-footer .km-tabstrip{
height:4em;
}

this moves the footer up, but still seems like there is a mask cutting off just below the icons... so no text...

please help if possible

kind regards

Richard

Hello,

The problem you experience is not a known one. Can you send some code which can help us reproduce it, as the current information is not enough for a decision what exactly is happening? Thank you in advance.

I just ran the app on the ipad ios6 emulator, the latest one and it displays the new styling.... my ipad is still ios5, so i gather that is why my tabstrip is cutt off at the bottom.. so i am doing a update now for it.....

However i see that by default on the ipad with ios6 , there are no km-text titles shown under the icons ? but on iphone with ios6, there are....

How do i display the km-text, underneath the icons for ipad with ios6 as well so it is the same as that displayed on the iphone?

kind regards

Richard

Hello,

TabStrip button text should be visible in iOS styling, regardless of the version. Something else is affecting the visibility of the text. Can you send a sample page or a live URL where we can check what is going on? You can open a support ticket if you prefer the privacy.
