Is it possible to load a map as SVG instead of as GeoJSON?  SVG allows for additional elements on a map as opposed to using GeoJSON, sa well as more advanced shapes as single polygons instead of multipolygons.  I've several jQuery/Javascript components that allow for this, but none with the extensive event controls that a kendo map component allows.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay.

Do you mean an SVG file latitude/longitude coordinates for the shapes?
A sample file will help us determine the scope of the work here.

An SVG graphic that defines the shapes of the map.

Hi,

Thanks for the sample.

I can see that the SVG contains screen coordinates. Those don't need to be projected and should be displayed as is.

In this case the Map should treat the SVG as a plain image.
This also means that all feature coordinates (markers, other layers, etc.) should also be listed in screen coordinates.

The needed functionality is a) support for image layers (not tiled) and b) user coordinate systems.
Neither is exposed by the map in the current version.

Please, file a request for this feature on our UserVoice portal if you have minute.
This will help us gauge the overall interest and prioritize.
