Sum table column in report header

Hi,

 how can i sum up a table column and show it in the report header? I use the standalone designer and created a simple report with a table.

This table has a DataSource connected to it. Now i need to sum up the values of column 'Duration' and show it in the footer, but i cant

access the fields of the table. what am i doing wrong?

Hello Tobias,

The Table item defines inner data scope and the data is not available in the parent scope - Expression scope.

I can suggest you the following approaches:

1. Use the PageExec function and display the total per page in the PageHeader/FooterSection;
2. Modify the report's data to have the calculated value as a Field and use the field as a value of a TextBox item;
