[Solved] Splitter on the iPad

I just wanted to know if the splitter control should work in the Safari browser on the iPad.  Most of the other MVC controls work very well on the iPad but I am unable to select the grap bar and collapse the slider.  Is there something I am missing?

Hello Christopher,

While the pane collapsing works on iPad, it is really hard to hit the small area that is used by the expand/collapse arrows. That said, the splitter is by no means optimized to work efficiently with touch devices, so resizing will not work.

Hi Christopher,

A work-around for the small expand/collapse arrows would be to make the splitbars bigger using CSS. Making the resizing work is currently not in our roadmap, so we cannot commit to a deadline when this will be implemented.
