You can use the AutoCompleteView control with Tokens enabled, see the Tokens documentation here.
If you have any trouble, you can open a Support Ticket here. Please include the code that you're using so that we can get you a solution quickly.
If you would like to submit an official Feature Request for a Telerik Picker instead of the Xamarin.Forms Picker, you can submit it here: Telerik UI for Xamarin Feedback Portal (select Feature Request).
