Hello,

In VS extension, when a JavaScript alert pops up in the simulator, I may see some unexpected results, switch back to VS and do a few changes in the code. With the popup still opened, upon saving (e.g.) the simulator freezes.

If I recall correctly I have seen this behaviour on other actions as well, though I can't remember which ones ad-lib.

Cheers

Hi Daniel,

Unfortunately, we were unable to reproduce your problem locally. However, a new version, that will bring improved stability and error handling, is scheduled for release in the coming days, so I would suggest that you wait a few days and check if the update fixes the issue.

Please, let us know if you experience such crashes after the update, so we can investigate the possible reasons.

Hello Nikola,

Even after the upgrade I've experience the issue several times. It seems to happen when an ajax call is pending. I'm requesting some data from the backend, in which a breakpoint is set, while the ajax call is waiting for response, I'm doing changes to my code, save and then an alert I've put into the ajax's success or error function pops up, and the simulator freezes.

Hello Daniel,

The new version of the Icenium extension for Visual Studio logs exceptions into Visual Studio, so can you check whether you see an exception and what is it? If there is no exception, we would appreciate if you isolate a simple sample that we can use to reproduce and pinpoint the problem.

Thank you for the cooperation!

Steve
