When you have valid account and an active subscription, is there a simple way to get updated DLLs without having to go through the Telerik Control Panel?

All I want is the .NET assemblies, having to download a big package through a convoluted interface, accept a license agreement I've accepted many times before, close Visual Studio, reopen Visual Studio, uninstall the Telerik VS extensions I don't want or need.

All I want is a ZIP file containing Telerik.Web.UI.dll and Telerik.Web.UI.Skins.dll and copy them into my own development environment.

Hi John,

You can log into telerik.com/account and download a small zip with the dlls only. The process is described in detail here: http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/introduction-using-hotfix.html.

Essentially:

  1. open Products & Subscriptions from the top menu, and choose the subsription you have.
  2. click on  Download Installer and other resources on the right.
  3. if you have a collection subscription - find the UI for ASP.NET AJAX tile
  4. click Browse all product files
  5. find the zip archive titled DLL, Scripts and Skins only, it should be in the second or third panel (depending on the availability of internal builds) and it should be around 60MB (it contains three sets of assemblies, after all)
  6. You now have an archive with the assemblies, take the ones you need from Bin45 for .NET4.5, from Bin40 for .NET4.0 and from Bin35 for .NET3.5

I hope this helps.
