Silverlight 5 and Telerik

Hi,
My application using Silverlight 4 and Telerik (Version:2011.1.315.1040 ). I am going to upgrade from Silverlight 4 to Silverlight 5.
I just tried a sample using Silvelight 5 and Telerik grid which throws  exception - Could not load file or assembly 'System.Windows.Data, Version=2.0.5.0 ....
My question is will the same version of Telerik support Silveright 5? If not which version i need to use? Please replty me asap.

Hi Afsal,

It seems that you're using too old version of the controls - at the time we released Q1 2011, Silverlight 5 was not available yet. You should upgrade to either Q3 2011 SP1 or the latest release of RadControls Q1 2012  - both of these releases include assemblies for Silverlight 5.

Hello Afsal,

We've made a lot of improvements and changes to the controls from Q1 2011 to Q1 2012 and there are cases when we couldn't avoid introducing breaking changes. I would suggest to check our Release History here and also we will help with any issues you might have during the upgrade process.

Can you please let me know , where from I can download the Q3 2011 SP1 - Trial Version (for SL 5 support as you mentioned in this thread) from Telerik.

Or, Is it require the commercial license for downloading Q3 2011 SP1?

Hi Abdul,

You can download the trial version of RadControls for Silverlight from your account:
http://www.telerik.com/account/your-products/trial-download-list.aspx

Note that you will be able to download only the latest Q1 SP1 release.
