Hello Kendo Team, I was reviewing the timeline view in http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/scheduler/timeline

But seems like this example shows, same "Attendees" in every group, My requirement is to have different "Attendees" in different group.

How can I do this?

In the attached image you can clearly see that, "Attendees" are different and instead of time I am showing dates in top header.

Hi,

Please note that the Scheduler build-in views currently doesn't support different nested groups for each parent group. Possible solution is to create custom view by extending one of the build-in ones. For example of extending the build-in views you can check the following example:

Hi Siddhartha,

This feature is still not supported and the only option currently would be creating custom view. Also I would suggest to vote for this idea at Kendo UI UserVoice. Most voted ideas are included in next Kendo UI releases.

Hi Kendo Team,

am I right in thinking that there has been no progress with this, and still the only options are either a custom view (would anybody be able to share an example more specific to this requirement?) or using multiple schedulers (which I'd rather avoid)?

I have up voted the idea on the User Voice but appreciate it is usually a long road from there to actually seeing that included in a future release.

Thanks for your time & help in advance.

Hi Julian,

You are correct - as this feature is still not included in the Scheduler I could only suggest to use one of the two options previously discussed (custom view or multiple widgets). For updates on the matter you can regularly check the idea at UserVoice.
