is it possible to make the rows in this grid selectable? i currently have selection mode = "single" but on click the grid doesnt seem to fire the selected index changed event

Hi Dave Pease,

Most probably  you are referring to our SelectionChanged event since we haven't introduced SelectedInxedChanged event yet. We tried to reproduce the problem that you have mentioned but the SelectionChanged event is raised as expected. 

Have you done any modifications to our original sample?

Hi!
In my case SelectionChanged event is raised too. But selected row isn't become highlighted. Is it possible to make the row highlighted when it becomes selected?

Can you verify that you have a custom row layout in RadGridView? 
If that is the case you may check the following thread "Highlight selected row in RadGridView with custom row layout" which demonstrates how this can be achieved.
