    Hello

I have been trying for weeks now to just get a working version of scheduler.

That being said ? Here is what I have done.

    1. I have read every document concerning scheduler
    2. I have watch numerous videos on the topic
    3. I have downloaded all known documentation.
    4. I have downloaded all examples on the site
    5. I have copied working code from example back to the same access data base.
    6. I have also taken the db schema for sql and created the tables"Still to no avail"

Still unable to get this to work.

    I am new to telerik
Also I am self taught dabbler

But unable to figure out what my issue is..

My requirements for integrating scheduler in to my new born application is...........

    • I have to use a local sql .mdf file that can go with project. "Not access"
    • I need the standard just out of the box capabilities to start
    • I will be creating custom appointment dialogs later
    • Also I will need the ability to create appointments in the background with out selecting cell to activate appointment dialogs.

My question is can any one give me a working scheduler

That can actually save appointments " Persisting " that can have recurrences active.

I have tried databinding directly through the schedulerdatabindingsource module .

And also tried hard coding this for info mapping .

Done everything I know to do .

Using the newest latest greatest 2017 devcraft.

Please some one help so I can move on.

    Thanks Jeff

I thought it was originally the database configuration.?
But now after using the database that works with the same example in databinding
    It still doesnt work.

    Hello Jeff,

    Thank you for writing.

Your question has already been answered in the support thread that you have opened on the same topic. However, I am posting here the reply as well in order the community to benefit from it.
Following the demonstrated approach in the referred help article, I have prepared a sample project for your reference: http://docs.telerik.com/devtools/winforms/scheduler/data-binding/data-binding-walkthrough

There is a backup file of the database included in the zip as well. You can restore it locally and change the connection string in the App.config file.

I hope this information helps. Should you have further questions I would be glad to help.

    Hi Jeff,

I purchased the UI for Winforms and support for one year in hope that I could make a VB software with the Schedule and Reminder for my salon but I could not make it works.  I tried and tried all of their ways but could not make any new appointment save to database.  Could you do it?  Can you help me?  Thank you very much if you can.

    Hello, Anthony,

According to the provided information, it is not very clear what is the exact setup that you have your end. Have you looked at the referred help article in my previous reply? Have you tried to run the previously attached sample project?

If you are still experiencing any further difficulties, it would be greatly appreciated if you can submit a support ticket from your Telerik account and provide more details about the precise case. A sample project demonstrating the problematic behavior would be very useful for investigating further the specific scenario. Thus, we would be able to get better understanding of the setup that you have and provide further assistance. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

I am looking forward to your reply.
