I can not get it to work.
I would need some really basic demo, how to use replace effect, if I want to use slideUp (hide old) and slideDown (show new).

Hello Matjaz,

Both our documentation and demos web site feature examples of the replace effect. You may take one of the examples from there and customize it according to your requirements by modifying the CSS rules for each state.
