While reviewing the CRM source code I compiled, and ran the example code. During launch the reported error appeared:
Error: Unhandled Error in Silverlight Application
Code: 2152
Category: InitializeError
Message: Failed to download a platform extension: System.ComponentModel.Composition.zip
I tested on a separate project, and the same issue occurred. I reviewed the documentation here, but I fail to see the problem.
I have searched the web, and I have yet to find a solution to this issue. If someone could help me understand how to resolve this I would appreciate it.

Hello,
As it turns out we are not aware of such an error running the CRM demo. May I ask you to let us know what the exact version of the demo is?
Then you can get back to this blog post on Application Library Caching in RadControls for Silverlight describing the steps you need to follow when minimizing the XAP size of a Silverligth application using Telerik controls. Please note that there aren't any particular differences between using Application Caching for applications with Telerik controls and applications with native controls.
