Hello Ramaiah Palaniappan,

It is not possible to replace the default IE scrollbar with our RadScrollBar for WinForms, because you need to have the source code of the browser to do so. However, it is possible to tweak its appearance with some CSS. Check Google for more information. Here are two external links not related to our controls: link1, link2.

Hi Ramaiah Palaniappan,

Thank you for the additional details, however the answer is still no, because the scrollbar is part of the internal structure of the web browser control.

Do not hesitate to write me back if you have more questions.

Hi,

I am a bit confused with this RadScrollBar. I don't think it is in the Telerik.UI assembly?
Where can I get it and how can I use it?

My scenario is that I would like to replace the scrollbars in my DIVs with a customized scrollbar.

please advise.

thanks,
Vincent

Hello Vincent,

The best approach to style scrollbars of any elements in the brwoser is to set the corrending css classes in the you css stylesheet.
The discussion in the thread concerns mostly RadScrollBar for Windows Forms and  I am afraid it can be only used in the context of a Windows Forms applications. The WebBrowser control in windows forms wraps around Internet Explorer browser and it would not allow you to replace any of its visual elements with any winforms controls.

Best wishes,
Mike
