Hi Guys,

I am looking for a way to export the RadPanelBar Control to an ActiveX object for use in a VB6 project. I know it’s possible, I just need a bit of help considering the RadPanelBar is a user control and not a simple object.

Going from ActiveX to .NET is fairly simple but it’s a bit of a pain going the other way.

Any help would be appreciated. I couldn't find much via google. :~<

Thanks,
Chris H

Hi Chris,
Could you tell us more what specific features of RadPanel are not accessible in a ActiveX wrapped instance?

Best wishes,

Hi,

If you could provide a simple example of how I could use your RadPanelBar in an ActiveX that would be great. I don’t know where to start to tell you the truth.

I know how to export .NET functions into ActiveX libraries that *do not contain* user controls but that is as far as I can get.

Thanks a bunch,

Chris H

Hi Chris,

I am happy to announce that we have just published a Knowledge Base article covering the topic of Wrapping a .NET user control as an ActiveX. At the end of the article you will find a sample project using RadControls for WinForms on a UserControl.

If you have additional questions, feel free to contact me.
