Hello,

I have been trying to find a simple sample of using the Gridview in HTMLview in Unbound mode.

Does anyone have a sample on how to do this?

I am trying to duplicate the screenshot within the GridView control, have found a couple of other Grid controls that allow me to do this, but already have a huge investment in this one.

Any help, suggestions, ideas or code samples would be awesome.

 Regards,

Bryan

Hello Bryan,

Thank you for writing.

You can refer to the HTML View help article which demonstrates a sample approach how to set up the HtmlViewDefinition. The GridView >> Populating with data >> Unbound Mode help article is quite useful about manually inserting data in the grid. However, if you need to achieve the layout illustrated on the attached screenshot, it is not necessary to use a grid. It is more suitable to use a RadPanel or RadSplitContainer for example and add the desired controls to it. Thus, you can achieve similar look at design time.

I hope this information helps. Should you have further questions, I would be glad to help.
