Hi,

This is a bit strange, but I cannot get the radCalendar special days to work when adding them from code. The special days just doesn't show up on the calendar. What I want is for them just to be Bolded or marked like when they are added in design time, so nothing fancy.

I have tried the example project from this post: http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/winforms/calendar-and-datetimepicker/calendar-specialdays.aspx and a bunch of other stuff, but nothing seems to work. Adding them in design time makes them show up just fine though.

Any help is appreciated

/Daniel

Hi Daniel Lindberg,

Thank you for contacting us. You are in the right direction to you use themes. If you want to apply any style to the calendar you could use an existing style and change it to your preference, i.e. change the style for the special days state. Load the attached files in the Visual Style Builder and find the differences from your theme. I hope this will help you.

If you have additional questions feel free to ask.

I would like to change the appearance of the special days in my RadCalendar control and have downloaded the sample file you provided.
However, I don't know what I'm meant to do with them, or how I should apply them to my calendar?

Also, these suggest to be for the Desert colour scheme where as I will be using one of the Office 2010 themes.

Hello Karl,

Thank you for writing.

You can edit any of the themes that ship with our product. You can get guides on how to edit a theme with our Visual Style Builder from our online product documentation - Getting started with VSB. There are also articles explaining how to use custom(edited) themes and video tutorials.

I hope this will be useful for you. If you find any difficulties, feel free to write back.
