The Gantt already has week and month. I would like to add quarter.
Running a copy and paste of this code doesn't provide a quarter view? Any ideas?

Hello,
Did you try clicking on the "Open In Dojo" button in the upper-right corner of the example? Clicking on it will navigate you to our online dojo page where the sample will be loaded and can be run. It works as expected on my end.
